You are the only doctor who has explained things clearly, with complete information. Can't express how helpful these videos are. No doctor explains these things when you go visit them

Thank you for such a informative video, you have answered most of the questions in the video, I have one question that is worrying me a lot, we are in Canada, and my mom has asymptomatic gall stone of 1.2 cm, few months back she complained of lot of gastrities, nausea diarrhea, I took her to ER and they did the ultrasound, they referred us to the surgeon, the surgeon assessed my mom and said since my mom is on anticoagulants, hypertensive and diabetic, it could be a little challenging to perform emergency surgery, it’s better to do it electively, I am very confused doctor, we got a date for surgery next month, I am worrying a lot about the the surgery, because she is on anticoagulants, right now she doesn’t complain of any symptoms, what should we go .? If you can please advise thank you

I have few stones in Gall Bladder and the largest is 8.4 mm but I do not have any symptoms at all. My doctor advised me to remove the Gall Bladder. I am little worried to remove my Gall Bladder. I am little worried whether to get the surgery done or not. Please advise

My doctor advised to go for Laparoscopic umbilical hernia repair + cholecystectomy after work up.

Since the size of the defect is just 1.6 cm only, is it reach urgent to do hernia repair. People said if you doing hernia repair then do surgery for gallbladder also but I am worried to remove the gallbladder. If the hernia repair is urgent then will think about gallbladder surgery else i dont want to take risk.

USG Scan description for Hernia:
No free fluid

An anterior adbominal wall defect measuring about 1.6 cm with reducible fat/omental herniation is noted in the umbilical region. Cough impulse present.
