For trade events.. if i dominate a trade node (ottoman Constantinopole or england english channel) i choose trade efficiency.. if i play as my lovely Chocolate Switzerland.. i choose merchantalism.. for dominate trade node.. i dunno well that mechanic..

when you're drilling you want as much as possible of your force limit drilling in a single stack, this gives the greatest chance (~10% yearly at 100% of Fl) per year for the general to gain a pip, this is much easier to do in leviathian because your capital usually reaches over 200 dev and so has a huge supply limit

Another stupidly genius ludi discovery

Higher cav composition is important in the early game bc the shock phase of battle is far more important than fire. Cav has more shock pips to provide that extra damage. Taking England's 8 cav and putting them with 12 inf allows maximum damage to French armies 👌
