From my experience, as much as I like the RF 24-105, F4 doesn't cut it indoors - in any case, add at least the 1.8 niftiy fifty to this kit - it's not expensive, and will save your low light shots.

I fell over backwards into a koi pond at a wedding and baptized both camera bodies and lenses.

I finished with an old crop sensor body and ancient Tamron 45mm 1.8.

Redundancy rules.

I also keep a full change of clothes in the car.

I wouldn't go into an indoor wedding with anything less than a F2.8. If it was me I would get the Panasonic S5 II which I recently picked one up for $1, 300 off ebay. Then i would get the Sigma 28-70 F2.8 contemporary which is currently $799 at B&H. The Panasonic blows away the others for video and is higher resolution than the R6 for stills. Canon hasn't allowed 3rd party glass so there are also fewer upgrade paths available when you get locked into the Canon RF mount. If you want to use older EF glass on L mount, there is an adapter. I use my older EF lenses on both my Sony and Panasonic systems just fine. They are all Sigma lenses, so they work great with the Sigma adapters for each mount.

I've shot with expensive and cheap memory cards every since I've gone digital and I've NEVER had a card fail on me. Not saying that they won't or can't b/c I know people have had them fail, but just b/c you spend 3 or 4 times more for something, doesn't always mean you won't have a disaster. Take care of your gear (no matter how much you spend) and it will take care of you. Good video, with good advice.

My first wedding was for a girl that I knew her from high school. The day of the wedding was great all worked as it should. This was 1972 the world was using film. Back in the day there were places that did nothing but develops and print your work. 2 days after the wedding I had a call from them, wow I thought so fast awesome. If you think this day was great, NOT the person said Bill sit down. We had a fire last night, no cant happed yes Bill its no kidding you lost your 24 rolls of 220 film 600 images gone. It was the worst thing calling the bride. At our 40 year reunion she said I forgive you. So, I did Her's Granddaughter's wedding for free !
