I think this was the best part of the movie. Even though it was Rei Q, she's finally living a normal life. That combined with this amazing music. Fantastic.
And good God did it hurt when she started crying, knowing her normal life couldn't last forever. That's why I can't listen to this song without tearing up.

this movie came out right on time for my high school graduation, which i barely made despite the pandemic trying its best to ruin the whole experience. that summer was the most relaxed time in my life, and ever since then the calming tracks in the first disc of this album have held so much nostalgia and still help me to relax when im stressed. even the original show helped to comfort me when i was depressed way back when, and im so grateful to all the people who made this movie and the soundtrack possible.

For me, Eva isn't meant to make sense. It's a series about well realised characters dealing with intense mental struggles, in a world that mirrors the emotions of its creator.

And it's so heart-warming, then, to *feel* a happier man behind this film
