How to Apply Multilevel Numbering In Microsoft Word | Numbering Headings and Subheadings

In the this video I demonstrate how to apply multilevel numbering in Microsoft Word. Multilevel numbering examples include: 1, 1.1, 1.1.1 or 1, 1.a, 1.a.i style numbering.
Multilevel list numbering can be applied to headings and subheadings in your document.

Thank you for the video. You're covered almost everything. Although I have 1 thing that is still not solved.

How to put different level numbering on the same line? This usually appear in question paper. For example:
Q1. a) Question 1
b) i. Question 2
ii. Question 3

Thank you! What if I want to create numbering (1.1, 1.2) and associate it with a List Paragraph style, AND then, in the same document, associate (1.1, 1.2) to Heading 2 style? So I want Heading 1 to be 1, 2, 3, etc. And then under some headings I want Heading 2 to be 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 etc, and under other Heading 1 I want "List Paragraph" with say, 3.1, 3.2, 3.3 etc.?
Reason being - I want the TOC to list Heading 1 and 2, but not the paragraphs I numbered under some of the Heading 1s. So some of my Headings have sub-headings, and others don't - just lists, or paragraphs.
