My mother took us to get our clothes in Canada in the 70's and 80's so as to avoid the flame retardants on our clothes that they were using in th US.

We are a chemified society.

Maybe we need a panel of open minded mothers to check products before they are sold.

Just wait till you start seeing the lawsuits filed by the people locked up in prison that have been fighting the same fires with the same equipment. They just passed a law or ordinance in Cali to support the reintegration of felons that have been trained while detained to fight fires. They are now able to get hired by the fire departments when they are released from prison. But I'm sure they too will be added to the class action lawsuit, they stood toe to toe with first responders fighting fires in Cali. Even though they are criminals and go back to prison after a long, hard and hot day fighting fires they are humans helping humans. They deserve the same payday as the firemen/A-woman due to the same exposure of the chemicals used to protect them.

The chemical's that are causing the problem are probably a dime cheaper... Sorry firefighter, you lose. Better luck next time! It is infuriating and disheartening, looking forward to seeing if I am right.
