In The whole Old Testament, God is singular. People fall to Jesus’s feet and worship him and not once does he point away from himself. He always receives the worship. Like when Thomas said “my Lord and my God”. In John 14 Phillip said to Jesus, “show us the father”, and Jesus said “oh Phillip, I’ve been with you this whole time and you still don’t see me?”

I appreciate the teachings of this pastor because he is teaching us to look at the Bible and see what it’s saying, and stop reading the Bible based on the rhetoric that we were given previously in our church experiences, and took no thought about what was being said to us. Because we were taught by people who also gave it no thought, we just accepted it at face value believing that those who were teaching us, was teaching us the truth. The word says "But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only." Jesus doesn't know when he coming back only God so how can he be the God.
