”And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.“
‭‭I Timothy‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Gina Jennings said there is only one god, he doesn’t believe there is three gods

I listen to Gino Jennings ALOT, I mean alot. This is one area I disagree with Gino Jennings about. WE have ONE GOD, ONE GOD. But HE exists in 3 personalities. That is my understanding from the scriptures. I also pray to God if I hold any heretical belief in this aspect that HE should forgive me for it and it is out of ignorance.

Pastor Jennings never said that🎉 Jesus is not God in your excerpts of his sermon. In fact, he uses some of the same scriptures to illustrate the point that you're making now. Many people believe that Jesus Christ could've have sinned but He chose not to. This belief isn't supported by scripture. If Jesus is the only begotten Son of God and that there is no corruption in God, then Jesus could only be the exact representation of the perfect God.

Hallelujah! Glory be to God! He is the Great I Am! His ways are not our ways nor I thoughts His thoughts. God is wonderful. He came to us in the flesh, left behind His Holy Spirit and gave the ultimate sacrifice! Who can deny Him??? Great work brother Corey!

The Word Trinity is nowhere in the Bible but the concept is in scripture. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit

I honestly don’t see how people miss the concept of the Trinity.

A lack of basic apprehension and a subsequent despising of the Trinity AFTER having it explained biblically is evidence of a lack of the Holy Spirit

The scripture is clear about three distinct personages, in one. In John 17, Jesus prays to the Father for us. Jesus tells the disciples that another, like himself, would come, The Holy Spirit. Now Pastor Gino has to contend with the words of Jesus.

The worst part is that a lot of pastors believe this but subtly implement it in their teachings. Kenosis and Ariansim is all over the modern "church"

The term "God the Son" does not appear in scripture. Instead, scripture identifies Jesus as the Son of God and the Son of man. If we assert the existence of "God the Son, " it prompts questions about when this entity became a descendant of the Father and when it acquired the character and nature of the Father. Additionally, if the Son transcends the identity of the man Christ Jesus, then does the notion suggest that when the "God the Son" slept, God also slept? Did God die when the "God the Son" died? Or do we just ignore the Man Christ altogether?

Regarding the concept of God's plurality, what prevents God from being a being comprised of three or more concealed persons awaiting revelation? Can the term "God" be both singular and plural, akin to nouns like "sheep"? Is it plausible for "God" to signify one, two, three, or more entities?

I criticize the trinity for one of its specific illogical aspects, such as the idea of an eternal Son of God; a logical contradiction akin to imagining a square circle.

I hold the belief that people will not be condemned if they describe God as a trinity, as some may simply lack comprehension of the nature of God. Our understanding of divine revelation is a continuous process of growth, of which I also participate.

However, I contest the notion that defining God as three persons or a triune deity is the most accurate description. This perspective raises concerns, particularly when considering passages like Matthew 28:19, where the apostles baptized in the name of the Lord throughout the 1st century, contrasting with later practices influenced by the emergence of the trinitarian concept in the second century. I believe without reserve that Jesus is God in human form, radiating the exact (charaktēr) of the Father's person as described in Hebrews chapter 1. I find numerous flaws within the trinity doctrine and I am content with using Biblical terminology to describe God.

Even though one might use scripture to support oneness or Trinity, in my humble opinion noone will never fully understand the God head. However, we must workout our salvation with fear and tremble. Everyman and woman for themselves. Shalom 🙏🏾🙏🏾

How do we say that Genesis 1:26 is 3 of them there?

This Old Testament verse also teaches the concept of a Trinity. Isiah 48:16 – “Come near to Me, listen to this: from the first (beginning) I have not spoken in secret, from the time that it took place I was there. And now the LORD GOD has sent Me, and His Spirit.”

What about 1 Corinthians 15:27 where it says:
For he “has put everything under his feet.” Now when it says that “everything” has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ.”

So many of y’all exegetes skip passages like this because you know it will confuse people. I asked about it before and folks just blinked because it doesn’t match what they have been programmed to parrot for fear that they’ll go to hell for getting the answers wrong. Sadly, so many of us who fear like this are marginalized folks.

I’ll admit that I think Gino Jennings is annoying even when he is right because he reminds me of all of the pastors who are bullies and try to lord power over people with their authority and trying to act like they’re infallible. But, you do the same thing in a different way. You want to be right so bad and think you have all of the divine mysteries figured out. None of us do. Faith is not about having everything figured out in our heads and having an answer for everything. We’re messing people up with our fake certainty. I was in church all of my life. And like many people I’ve talked to, I was harmed by sincere people who thought they had all of the answers. Then I became a pastor for 10 years. I tried to be different and walk alongside people instead of acting like I was the chief muckity muck that had all the answers. But the system is hierarchical and tries to put us above people. So, I quit. The Bible is not a book of just answers. It is a book that makes you ask questions. And sometimes what God puts in folk’s hearts can’t be found completely in the scripture. The Bible points people to look within and commune with the Creator in that inner place.

It literally says in Hebrews 8,

“10 This is the covenant I will establish with the people of Israel
after that time, declares the Lord.
I will put my laws in their minds
and write them on their hearts.
I will be their God,
and they will be my people.
11 No longer will they teach their neighbor,
or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord, ’
because they will all know me,
from the least of them to the greatest.
12 For I will forgive their wickedness
and will remember their sins no more.”

And I imagine you know that Israel is not the country or the people in it or from it, but moreso, as the name means, “the one who wrestled with God” as Jacob became known as. We are supposed to wrestle with God. Not with each other about who has the theology down. The Bible is a personal invitation from God who wants to have a personal relationship with us just like God had with Jesus.

I know you mean well with your call out videos. Most of us mean well. But, trying to be right no matter what when it is okay to not have all the answers is harmful and trying to replace God with the idol of our own intelligence. I’m saying this as someone whose ego thought I could figure it all out too at one point. But, I kept wrestling with God until God pinned me down and humbled me. All Love Brethren.
