I just want to remind yall that you can't get to know God through what someone tells you .... it's about a Go study the word for not saying u can't learn from others .... but to know someone and to know of someone is two different things ... experience the Lord for yourselves...

Preachers who won't preach it like this, have sin in the camp. This is rare, and much appreciated.

I went back and read the whole chapter you can’t just pull verses you must know the whole story ppl were flossing in jewelry had a lot on acting all that cause of it and on judgement day he striped it all of the Bible says modesty your wedding ring won’t hurt it’s the heart about it. I don’t cherish jewels If I had to pond it or give it away to help myself or others good bye it go. Ask your self is one wedding ring not modest. Read the whole chapter
But pastor Gino is a great man of Good. But the Bible says read the word for your self as well

The Bible also speaks about not wearing expensive clothing but you will find many preachers and ministers and their wives being perfectly fine with having expensive suits, ties, cufflinks etc.. what about your expensive shoes or suits that are loud colors? How about your expensive cars that you show off when you drive into the church? This scripture was not intended for jewelry or specifically what you were wearing but being puffed up, proud and arrogant. Getting your value by what you have. This is why we are asked to dress modestly and have good works to back it up. 1 timothy 2-9

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

Does this guy ever speaks about the love of Christ ? ... The way he preaches encourages me to serve God out of fear of going to hell and not out of love for Christ.... He ever speaks about God's forgiveness and merciful

“I decked thee also with ornaments, and I put bracelets upon thy hands, and a chain on thy neck. And I put a jewel on thy forehead, and earrings in thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thine head. Thus wast thou decked with gold and silver; and thy raiment was of fine linen, and silk, and broidered work; thou didst eat fine flour, and honey, and oil: and thou wast exceeding beautiful, and thou didst prosper into a kingdom.”
‭ - Ezekiel‬ ‭16‬:‭11‬-‭13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: and the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭12‬:‭35‬-‭36‬ ‭KJV‬‬

This is good preaching! NOBODY should wear jewelry other than a watch for seeing time. In the OT, when the Israelites backslid on God, they started putting on jewelry, getting tattoos, etc! This still needs to be preached today.

This man knows more about than Bible than I but I cannot find anywhere in the bible where God says jewelery, itself, is a sin. Didn't God tell Moses to have Aaron and his sons to wear a breastplate adorned with jewels and wear fine linens?
Pastor Gino has taught me much about Christ and helped me understand that you cannot compromise in your faith, but I disagree with him on jewelry specifically.

The Bible don’t discuss a wedding ring however in the Bible there was a ring giving and worn called the signet ring it was of sign of a contract so we took on that nature came up with the same ideal to do when we get married so other ppl will know were in a committed contract that was all.
Is this so wrong or not approve of by God let me know

With Zeal, sometimes comes ignorance of the scriptures. These are judgments against Israel for their sins, not judgements on all women of all time. Not one verse of scripture teaches makeup or jewelry worn by women is a sin. Neither is wearing pants. Breeches were brief underwear for "the priests". So, pastors need to study the actual history and stop calling things sin that God doesn't call sin.

Bible Teaching about Wearing Jewelry
May Christian women (or men) wear jewelry, such as earrings, bracelets, etc.?May Christian women (or men) wear jewelry, such as earrings, bracelets, etc.?
Two passages are sometimes used to prove that women should not wear jewelry. They are 1 Tim. 2:9, 10 and 1 Peter 3:1-6.

It sounds like the passages forbid all wearing of braids, gold, pearls, or costly clothing. But note that 1 Timothy 2 lists kinds of clothing women should "not" wear, but included is simply "putting on apparel" (ASV). Obviously women are not absolutely forbidden to wear apparel.

In Prov. 31:21, 22, the worthy woman was praised because she provided for her family and herself clothing of scarlet, fine linen, and purple. In Gen. 24:22 Abraham's servant gave a gold nose ring and gold bracelets to Rebekah when he sought her to be Isaac's wife.

Many Bible passages contain a "not (this), but (that)" expression, which is not intended to absolutely prohibit the first item ("not this"). The intent is rather to emphasize the second item ("but that") as being far more important than the first. The first item may, in some such expressions, be absolutely wrong. But sometimes it is not wrong, but is just not to be emphasized as the second item is.

Example: John 6:27 "Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him." Surely this is not prohibiting working for food (cf. 2 Thess. 3:10; etc.). It is just emphasizing the spiritual food. For other examples see: John 12:44; 1 Corinthians 1:17; 15:10; 1 Peter 3:3, 4; Mark 9:37; Matt. 10:20; Acts 5:4; 1 Thess. 4:8; Genesis 45:8; Titus 3:5; 2 Timothy 1:9.

So 1 Tim. 2:9, 10 and 1 Pet. 3:1-6 are not absolutely forbidding wearing of all braids, gold, etc. They are simply saying that these are not what is important. They may in some cases be so extreme that they violate the modest quietness that should characterize godly women (cf. Isa. 3:16-24). This should be avoided.

But the main point in this part of the verses is to contrast physical clothing with spiritual. Women should be far more concerned about clothing themselves with good works than they are with physical, outward beauty. And we as men should seek wives with inward purity as far more important than outward beauty.

So the emphasis in context seems to be on: (1) not over-dressing for the sake of vanity, pride, and being able to exalt oneself by showing off one's expensive and beautiful wardrobe; (2) not over-emphasizing outward beauty to the neglect of inward character.

I discovered Pastor Jennings sermons a few months ago, and they have eye opening and uplifting. When he speaks of all this jewelry wearing and perhaps even worse: the painted nails and this fake hair. Are they really that deceived, to think that the artificial horse hair is real. . . ?

It is almost scary to think that women really think that others don't know how awful this fake appearance is.

So pastor why you skip over the perfumes, mirrors etc. that the lord will take away too? You have to hide that part from a congregation who possibly don't read. Because the entire thing you're preaching will collapse. Tell them that part too....no perfume, mirrors, purses, fine clothing. You can't tell them because you know Isaiah 3 isn't saying God forbids all from wearing jewellery. This is what happens when people don't read scriptures in context. So sad.
