Stop trying to always shift the blame to the schools for all of the failures of the parents. It's not the schools responsible to do everything. The parent should make sure that their child has a safe way to get to school. The kid was stupid to try and beat a train. Our society really has become the weakest link!!!!

I’m sorry for their loss. But for somebody his age he should’ve known better. Not to cross it as one was coming. And yes I’m 100% sure one was coming. Because if one weren’t, he would’ve enough time to get back up and cross it. But because he didn’t wanted to wait, he on accidentally tripped and got hisself killed! Nobody is to be blamed but hisself! Not even the train driver. A train cannot stop fast like a car can.

I would love a "skyway" crossing the street in front of my house too. Everyone deserves their own skyway.

Why the school officials didn’t cancel school that tragic day? Yes they should be held accountable and donate money to the family for funeral expenses.
