This young man has me in tears right now. Not because I feel sorry for him but because of his heart and soul and positive outlook. If more people had his attitude how much nicer this world would be. Good luck, Sean!! Beautiful voice!!

His enormous level of maturity at only 22 and positive attitude is very inspiring.

I’m glad he called the nurses up on stage to acknowledge their awesomeness

I've been a nurse for over 20 years and if I had been fortunate enough to have cared for this wonderful and talented young man, NOTHING would have kept me from being there to support him through his audition either!
Well done Sean! BRAVO! BRAVO!

This is a young man squeezing every drop out of life rather than lamenting the hand he’s been dealt. What an incredible talent and inspiration to all. ♥♥♥

It’s wild the comments on here are so kind while the ones on IG are so cruel. This kid is a legend!

I get how Sean's feeling about his nurses. It's the same way I fell about mine. They've saved my life more times than I can count, they've made every and all accomodations to help me, they're on call for me every single day and when I go in - which has been about 4 times a week over the last 4 years (now it's only once every other week) - they always made me smile and feel better, even though I've been in excruciating pain most of the time. They call me now, about once a week to check up on me. I wrote them and the docs a letter of gratitude for all they've done for me and how they made me feel through it all, and they read it out loud at their staff meeting, which I'm grateful for, because it's really everyone at that particular ward who's made me better, so much now, that I've gotten the disease under control. They're amazing, just as Sean's is.
