Seriously, the show runners are some of the best guys out there right now. How many people would even this reference to a relatively small cult hit movie/tv series? How many of those people are kids that even watch this show? They got everything is this reference: the location for the first sword fight, the trench coat, the unexplined an unecesaary flips, the strange effects of tbe power absortiom, even making a mock Queen son for the montage. The omly way this would have been even more the nose would been the arrival of a scootish guy dressed as an spanird who claims to be egyptian.
