Sermons like these and really this whole symposium just make me want to say "I love my church". So biblical, simple, elevated. It gives great confidence to see how we have reacted in these issues which may be said as the "least" of deviations but according to the bible, this shows how we will react in the "great" of apostasies.

WOW.  What a POWERFUL end to this symposium on Women's Ordination.  I thought that 21 videos was overkill since the Bible is so clear on this point- but I thoroughly enjoyed these videos.
We are in perilous times. Jesus Christ is NOW sifting the goats from the sheep, the tares from the wheat and we won't fully know who are what until the Conflict arrives.  Yet let us not become discouraged.  Let us who are seeking the Blessed Hope of our Redeemer REMAIN STEADFAST in the truth- placing ALL our hopes, NOT in man, but in Christ Jesus. Let us HOLD FAST until Christ Jesus comes to take us home:

I CORINTHIANS 16:13-14:  Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.  Let all your things be done in charity"

Human power and human might did not establish the church of God, and neither can they destroy it. Not on the rock of human strength, but on Christ Jesus, the Rock of Ages, was the church founded, “and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Matthew 16:18. The presence of God gives stability to His cause. “Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, ” is the word that comes to us. Psalm 146:3. “In quietness and in confidence shall be your strength.” Isaiah 30:15. God’s glorious work, founded on the eternal principles of right, will never come to nought. It will go on from strength to strength, “not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.” Zechariah 4:6. PROPHETS and KINGS, pp. 594-596 


HOLD FAST TIL I COME

Sweet promise is given to all who believe—
 “Behold I come quickly, Mine own to receive;
 Hold fast till I come; the danger is great;
 Sleep not as do others; be watchful, and wait.”

We’ll “watch unto prayer” with lamps burning bright;
 He comes to all others a “thief in the night.”
We know He is near, but know not the day—
As spring shows that summer is not far away.

Yes! this is our hope, ’tis built on His word—

Wow.. this message is anointed..
we're being called to Holiness.. that's.. I wish this was taught.. more.. it's so rare to hear it..
the very fact of speaking that it IS possible to be holy.. provides such a strong motivation to surrender all to God right here and now, and to change habits of life to fit God's plan..

Counterfeit Spirituality is the fruit of Edward Heppenstall's doctrines that have been so widely accepted in Adventism today. We need to reject the Heppenstall model and get back to historic Adventism.  Praise the Lord for faithful ministries as this.

The counterfeit spirituality downplays obedience and puts aside doctrine and smacks against worshipping God in spirit and in truth!

I'm strongly in favor of living obediently to correct doctrine, the truth as it is in Jesus. I believe in the same authority that you champion, scripture. But that doesn't mean I must submit to your conclusions about the ordination debate. You really see women in ministry as "sin and apostasy"?
