Let's look at the "Straw Man Arguments in Favor of Women's Ordination"

In Mat 6:10 Jesus prayed: "Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven."

What is Jesus' will in Heaven that He wants to be done in earth?

Rev 1:1 "The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which MUST shortly come to pass..."

What was the message that Jesus collectively gave to all the 7 churches?

Rev 1:4-6 "Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come... from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, and HATH MADE US KINGS AND PRIESTS unto God and his Father; to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Jesus is worthy to reveal what must shortly come to pass.

Rev 5:9-10 "Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth."

Jesus wants God's will to be done in earth as it is in Heaven. Jesus made the redeemed (men and women) to be kings and priests in Heaven and they will rule as such on earth. But the Laodicean Church will not have God's will to be done in earth because they refuse to see anything more than their tradition allows.

For the last church, Laodicea, to be Christ's servants, they must obey His will. If they refuse to comply with Christ's command to allow women to be "kings and priests" in earth, Laodicea is denying the Lordship of Christ as Jesus forewarned would be the situation at His Coming; there is a class that will not have Jesus to rule over them:

Luke 19:12-27 "He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return... But HIS CITIZENS hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us... I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him. But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me."

God's dealing with Deborah and Phebe are consistent with God's will in Heaven that Christ will have to be done in earth.

To refuse to obey God's will is to reject Christ's reign over His Church.

The consequences of the you tube video "Straw Man Arguments in Favor of Women's Ordination" is to reject Christ as the head of the Church WHILE placing man at the head as the representative (vicar) of Christ. It is an evil work that has been done before and those who are being deceived on this point should know better.

In a simple word, the arguments of supporters of Women's Ordination are WORLDLY.

We as Adventists, although IN the world, aren't supposed to be OF the world. We are supposed to be the People of the Book and, as such, we should have the mind of Christ and use the TACTICS of Jesus Christ- which is the Word of God and LOVE.  Yet, rather than promoting and using Christ's method of drawing others to their side of a position, Ordination supporters use the arguments and tactics of the world- of the "wisdom" of the philosophers and scholars of the world.  Included are tactics such as:

1) Straw Man Arguments
2) Ad Hominem Attacks ( a favorite of many W.O. supporters)
3) Genetic Fallacy (this guy is against W.O. and he did x, y, z therefore u should support Women's Ordination).
4)  Red Herrings 
  and MANY, MANY more logical FALLACIES and tactics to argue for Women's Ordination- including the quoting of non-Adventist scholars.

Yet what is ALWAYS missing is a PLAIN "Thus saith the Lord" on the matter- only a deconstructing and REINPRETING AWAY a plain "Thus saith the Lord" AGAINST Women's Ordination.

Gerry Chudleigh, your source for link, is Communicatons Director for the PU (Pacific Union) Conference -- the very conference that is in rebellion to the world church's policy on women's ordination.  Sandra Roberts is now their non-world church recognized president.  Follow rebels if you want.  As for me and my household, we will follow the Bible ;)  Eve was the first to take the apple, then offered it to Adam.  God called to Adam for explanation and responsibility; not Eve.  Jesus is the second Adam; not the second Eve.  Just because someone is a Calvanist does not mean that he has everything wrong.  I have not researched Bill Gothard, but if he has some things right, that's ok with me even though he is a Calvanist.  Some of my friends are Calvanists ;)

"Deniers of Ellen's Ordination want us to believe that even though she was listed FOR DECADES in the SDA Yearbook as an ORDAINED MINISTER, and accepted ORDINATION CREDENTIALS WITH HER NAME ON THEM, she wasn't REALLY ordained. Brothers and sisters, YOUR EYES MUST BE LYING TO YOU! NO! There not! I love all my mistaken brethren who are my brothers, believing in the 28 Fundamentals, and loving this church as I do. We just disagree on this one issue. But, lovingly I say: WOW! She allowed herself to be listed as an ordained minister for decades BECAUSE SHE WAS! She allowed herself to be given the credentials of an ordained minister because SHE WAS! 
SHE WAS AN ORDAINED MINISTER OF THE HIGHEST ORDER, ORDAINED BY GOD THE FATHER, CALLED BY JESUS CHRIST, AND GIFTED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT! That's what I believe with all my heart and its my strong stand on scripture and the SOP that the Holy Spirit decides who is the leader, founder, prophet, evangelist, teacher and pastor of our flock NOT THE DENIERS! Can we all just agree to praise God for Ellen Whites extraordinary life, and ministry? Can we give the ladies of our church, who founded 70% of our churches in the 1800's the respect they deserve? Funny, all of the sickness and pain in this world and peope that have no idea who Jesus is...people not saved...people dying and people needed help and all we the church can discuss is the ordination of will never understand why the church is so side tracked on things that will not save one
