This is so true. I prefer immediate communication.

So true. From past experiences, I'm the type of person that will overthink, overanalyze, and obsess over whatever issue or argument that I had especially if it was left unsettled. I would not be able to go through my day without stressing out until I resolved whatever issue i had at hand

Omg!! This is me for sure!!! This is why I hate arguments. It has to be resolved right away. I cant wait for the other person to think things through.🙄

Thank you for posting this content! ❤I’m a survivor of domestic child abuse and have wondered why I couldn’t figure out the feelings I was having and not knowing how to process. I am doing the shadow inner child healing work( very intense and painful emotionally and somewhat physically) but I can already feel God and his love for me and it is beautiful!! Healing it by feeling it.

I knew a girl who intentionally did this to people she was upset with and said it was her tactic to stress them out between the time she told them she needed to talk and the talk, said she wanted the advantage. She was and still is a Christian missionary. Be careful out there y’all.

Yep, that would cause me to overthink and stress out . Very high chance I would be hard to find when it came time for the conversation to continue. I would avoid the situation

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

Suffered all my life, from being ultra shy as a kid/ secondary school onwards, I'm 54 now and only 5 months ago got diagnosed with dyslexia forming Anxiety, never knew it was a thing !. I overthink like crazy , especially with letters, I can leave unopened, which compounds the situation somewhat. Conversations like you've mentioned also a bad thing and for 30 odd years I've wanted to sell my art, but because it's all from my head, I've always been petrified about people seeing into it more than I can 😔 Anxiety really sucks for sure .

For us, every "can we talk later" feels like for other ppl when their boss says in a serious voice "can you come into my office later"

"We need to talk when you get home" is a HORRIBLE thing to hear.

You my friend are one of a kind for making these

Well to a person with low anxiety ...this tells me. They like to controll peoples emotions by creating suspense...or you caught them at a bad time or they could care less about you. But most definitely...Something is way more important than talking to you right now.
Work, sleep, have a companion at the moment. Attending to something urgent. Driving, fixing something. etc.
Ask and analyze the reason next time you speak to them. Thats the answer...(make sure it's not a lie.)

I always think of it as someone trying to control the narrative or trying to be mysterious, leaving you with a cliffhanger. I'd have to say 'No, now is the time we need to talk this over'.

Diagnosed bipolar depressive now for 21 years. Add to that "seasonal depressive disorder" but mine is the summer, heat, sunshine. We can't make people understand when we don't understand it ourselves. We just have to hold on

I can’t stand not knowing. It’s just like being lied to.

Truth. Don't mention it until you have something to discuss please.❤

So true! Especially when you realise the other party is doing it on purpose.

As a school bus driver, I can tell you that this is one most hated things that my company has a habit of doing. They will wait for me to get behind the wheel of the bus then call me on the radio saying "can you come and talk w/ us after your route?" Then my anxiety goes through the roof wondering what happened and I'm not able to calm myself AND focus on the task at hand which is driving precious cargo, safely! Dammit

I had my boss tell me "hey can I speak to you later" I was over thinking and started felt overwhelmed by all sorts of scenarios in my mind I'm getting fired or something bad that day he called me into his office and gave a raise
