I had a jobsite accident resulting in a compound fracture of my left foot . Was a 8 out 10 . Had 2 plates & 16 screws to "repair " . Hobbled around for a year in extreme pain . Original Dr wanted to fuse ankle, had No movement in the ankle . Had ankle replacement in 2021 . Have improved movement & less pain .

39 surgeries and this was the most brutal. The pain was INTENSE. The zero weight bearing for months was insane. All in all it saved my door due to the necrosis I had in bone. I have plantar fasciitis I can’t seem to get rid of, but better than losing my foot
