I will always believe in my theory that Vault Tech helped both sides. I wouldn’t be surprised if there are also vaults in Russia or other countries

For the whole lore of Fallout is incredibly interesting. One thing I don't recall ever being mentioned is how everywhere else is right now? Like house China? Did we bomb them back? How are the other countries responding to this?

the sad thing is if they didnt do what they did with the spp program then the fallout world would be far more stable but more divided because i doubt the vault dwellers would have been able to unify east coast and west coast and middle America

It’s sad that the original idea for vaults, being tests for how people would survive on a generation ship, was so far kinda thrown out. I think that idea is really interesting and this one YouTuber I watch brings up a lot of points supporting this theory

Honestly one thing that never made sense was the population number. If you wanted too create nuclear shelters then why did they design them for 20 to a 100 people. With population that small it was only a matter of time before vaults failed. Even in success you had at most 12, 000 survivors scattered over hundreds of miles.

Also never understood experimentation. Civilization is wiped out so the surviving genius instead torture subjects dor science to give too who? No one benefited and chance at civilization diminished drastically. Logically it makes more sense too provide variety of methods for survival inwhich prosperous vaults could trade knowledge on unseen boons but murderous torture seems backwards
