Just to be clear, I want monsters (even normal monsters) to be really agile and responsive, I don’t want another Genshin where the mobs are just being here waiting for you to kill them. Get inspired massively by Souls games please. Would be really healthy for the game. I want monsters not punch bags.

do not give up on this!!! Incorporating capturing monsters in an open world rpg is a first for me, besides Pokémon, but it’s BEAUTIFUL. To finally have something like this, is almost enough to make me cry.

This looks so cool and unique! I just hope the "Echo System" works as a one-time single use, cause it can be really OP depending on the enemies that drop them. Design-wise, I personally think making it limited will make players value it more and save it for when they actually need to use it. Or if it's not single use, it scales with the player's level, or has a different leveling system entirely. That "other anime open world RPG" game has a problem with Artifacts where at late-game, you need good stats in your Artifacts. And if you don't get good stats, you're forced to farm for hours to get a somewhat decent stat. I personally think making it a one-time use ability could solve that problem cause players won't be forced to farm really hard for a better chance at beating enemies. Sure, there might be times where you might lose Echoes early in a gauntlet (situations where you're trapped in an area and have to beat enemies to leave), but that could force players to do some management on their part.

Ok, THIS is sick! The more you fight the more enemies come your way=easier farming but much more difficult to sustain with time. Heck, I won't be surprised if some bosses show up to kick your butt)

Maybe there's more bright colors but everything seems dark maybe thats what they are aiming for.This art style has been popping up more and more and i can't get enough. much love and I wish everyone on the team a great success.
