Hello Dr Mobeen Syed,
I am a 62 year old male retired Paramedic living in Wales in the UK. Unfortunately I was retired from my job on ill health grounds after I prolapsed 4 L disc in work. Surgery was not indicated and I take several drugs to manage my condition , Opiates, Pregabalin. Duloxetine, Amitriptyline, plus a Medtronic implanted Intrathecal pump in my abdomen that delivers 300mcg's of Baclofen daily/ I am also on anti Hypertensives (diuretics and Ca channel blocker ) plus 'Statins' to manage cholesterol.
Bilateral Hip replacements too!
I thank God that I live in a country with Social healthcare for all, i.e. the NHS, whom as a Paramedic I once worked for! If I lived in the USA (my Brother lives in Roseville in California) I would never have been able to get or afford insurance, especially with all me 'Pre existing conditions. My weekly drugs bill is several hundred pounds! God bless the NHS!
I have unfortunately, due to lack of mobility, gained a lot or weight. Far to much!
And then, just as I am coming to terms with my health problems, this horrendous Corona virus with it's resultant covid-19 disease spreads all over the planet.
This, together with Global warming, Radical extremism and the technological advancement, in the manufacturing sector and industry .which is resulting in redundancies of many job, once run by humans, now factories the size of football stadiums that are working with only a handful of 'People' but a family of automaton robots that is basically making 'human manpower' redundant! The equations do not balance!
It is not a bright future for my daughters. Nether the less, I do try to see the world in a 'Glass half full' view!
As for myself, I am realistic, my several co-morbidities mean that should I succumb to this horrible disease, I would, indeed, find myself, really, well an truly 'Up against it'!
And so to try and educate, and give myself the best possible, realistic chances (and that of family and friends too) I searched You tube for some 'Credible' and honest straight talking Information and I have found two sites that i have no hesitation in recommending to anyone who wants to educate themselves on the whole subject of corona virus SARS-2/Covid-19 from its aetiology Diagnostics, advice of protection in the environment various treatment regimes and Data from the much publicised, various Vaccine projects etc, and what steps we can as both individuals and as a society, take to lessen the negative impact that this devastating pandemic is making throughout the continents and society in general!
Dr Mobeen's medical lectures channel on You tube, with your good self Dr Mobeen Syed and Dr John Campbell here in the UK, who also does a similar channel, maybe not as detailed and as technical as you but his channel compliments yours and between you I personally have learnt a lot, as no doubt a lot of other people have too!
You are, both singing from the 'Same hymn sheet' when it comes to one particular topic...VITAMIN D3! yes zinc and Vitamin C, NAC etc. All are mentioned and explained in such a way, not only to educate those with a clinical background, knowledge and qualifications but you deliver it in such a way that the average 'Lay person' can also benefit immensely from your broadcasts!
Sir, both you and Dr Campbell are obviously very altruistic people, worthy of the occupation and careers that you both chose in life.
Personally I am talking a high daily dose of Vitamin D3 with K2, zinc and Nac, plus vit C etc. I am on a healthy 'lifestyle diet' with lots of 'colourful' (sorry my US cousins ...'colorful) fruits and vegetables and a strict control on portion size! It's working!

I don't think you can buy any of those home test kits in the US. The FDA is pretty strict about lab tests being done at certified labs by certified techs. But the good news is that anybody can buy 5000 iu Vitamin D3 gelcaps, and for most people one per day will give a blood level of 50 ng/ml. That's about the level they used in the hi-dose Vitamin D drug trial, and won't hurt anybody unless their doctor has told them to avoid Vitamin D. Generally you have to take 15, 000 iu per day before you are in the overdose range. You can also buy quercetin, zinc, magnesium, K2, and Pepcid.

I would recommend taking those 5000 iu D3 every day for a month before you go get a blood draw for 25-OH-Vitamin D from your doctor or a commercial lab. If it's not around 50 ng/ml, you can adjust your dose. Then just watch your SpO2. Mine dropped from 97-98 down to 94 when I got Covid-19 pneumonia. I did not need hospitalization because I keep my Vitamin D level at 70 ng/ml for my MS.

Home treatment is not going to work for US residents because of limited prescriptions for steroids and anticoagulents. If your SpO2 drops much below 94, you need a doctor involved to get oxygen, steroids, etc. Good luck finding one who knows the MATH+ protocol. But if you keep your Vitamin D level high, you may never need that.

Hb A1c are also available online. Walgreens has 2 pk for $44. Online a little cheaper, usually a 2 pk but can get up to 10-20 'strips' and one meter. Test every 2 to 3 months (RBC die during that time) tip see your blood glucose going down with Keto or low carb diet.

Percentage of persons in U.S. with VitD deficiency more than doubles in winter [1]. This should result, not only in more persons who are susceptible to severe cases of Covid, but also may increase the R-nought value. More susceptible persons means greater ability of virus to spread, which raises R0, thereby raising the herd immunity threshold. Highest levels of vitamin D in the population are in August and September; we are seeing that good effect right now; it's not herd immunity.

I'm no MD, but before getting all these home instruments for massive home monitoring, I'd suggest getting a proper blood works done.
You get to verify the calibration of the home instruments by lab results, and you may uncover things these does not detect.
A friend did this (due issues) and had hemo-something (way too much iron), needed to tap once and week, didn't help and now he's blind.
Pre-diabetes and diabetes will get detected allowing you to take action early, as well as levels of vitamins and minerals, and allergy/infection markers.
