When the Dems won in the last election, at this very time the Dems were miles in front in the early voting ballots. This time it is too close for comfort for Harris and co, and I'd be very worried if I was her.

Republicans are habitually late voters on the day of the election, also Trump is widely tipped to figure favourably in the swing states.

I'm a black man, and this is the first time in my life that I voted in my 30s. Even as an adult, I didn't vote for Obama in 2008; I just didn't feel motivated. I didn't vote in 2020, and maybe I should have; I now feel like I had a duty and just didn't. It's 2024, and I've never felt more vigorous to vote now. I have been a conspiracy theorist since I was a kid, tapping on keyboards late into the night. I had my tin foil hat. I officially removed in 2015 but still didn't feel motivated to vote for anyone. Now I'm literally fired up about politics as I see a very different world from the era I was growing up. No matter who wins, I feel fired up and do more than ever. The conspiracy era is dead and its time to start engaging and teaching everyone they have a stake in elections!
