We know the drill by now. Standard Sully.

Against Bournemouth if we lose he’ll get time to turn it around, around the time we have Southampton

Over it - get him out now and take Sullivan with you

We have had 3 seasons on the spin of this now, it’s so tiring. We are limping along and falling further and further behind.
A man who no doubt sold a few gimp masks in his time is now gimping an entire football club 🫤

I thought he'd have until the end of the year, unless we lost against Leicester, which we did!! When he wasn't fired that told me everything. Get used to it, Lopetegui will still be here in May!

Some good signs Solers improved he and several players did well in the game! Bowen kudus and Somerville all with pace beating the defence scare anyone! Emerson went wandering for the wolves goal, and needs to defend better!

Players weren’t fighting for him they were fighting for Antonio

If we ignore Lopetegui for a second, I guess, what has become glaringly obvious is that we have failed to find a proper replacement for Rice and as a result or midfield lacks pace and a shape that's difficult to pass through.

I thought Kudus doesn’t look like the player we signed, I don’t think just recently either, if we can get anything near the buy out clause I would jump on it.

Safe for now... Until we get smashed by Bournemouth then he's back to his final game

The one thing that cannot happen is rushing into a managerial appoinment that is never going to work and be innthe same situation 6 months down the line. Id rather write this season off and hold off for a better choice of manager to be available assuming were good enough to avoid relegation.
We survived this game because of the new application of VAR, so performances must be vastly improved. The lack of a striker and poor set pieces were apparent.

I kinda think that Kudus goal should have been allowed, it to me looked like he was slightly behind the ball at Jazz foot

One of the commentators in the states said Bowens goal reminded him of Di Canio and would make Paolo proud

Agree, hardly a convincing endorsement, so what's the point in letting it drag on? The players won't like this cloud of uncertainty, and some of the body language last night reflected disillusionment. Can't expect Bowen to keep shouldering responsibility for taking team and club itself forward. Poor stewardship from Sullivan.

What a load of BS. We all know Sullivan can’t get anyone to fill the job at this circus of a club. Won’t improve until Sullivan sells up.

You can't compare this to anything else, Gonzo, because Sullivan is involved, and we all know how Sullivan works. Lopetegui will still be here in January. If and when he is replaced he will be replaced by someone just as underwhelming

We were lucky to win last night. Wolves could have, on another day, been awarded a couple of penalties, which there would have been no coming back from!! You could argue that Kudus was unlucky as well so thankfully we come away with those vital 3pts. The Bournemouth game is also a must win!!! When would or have we ever settled for being beaten by bloody Bournemouth!! I think we're always gonna struggle as long as Sullivan is in that boardroom

Not the greatest performance BUT see it this way - 3 valuable points which puts us 1 point behind Man U and 2 points behind Spurs and Newcastle. We are not in a bad position at this stage and certainly not in a relegation scrap. A depleted and worn out squad was inherited from last season and I think another transfer window is still needed to tackle serious deficiencies.

I asked my wife of 37 years how I performed last night and she said “okay for now but must increase performance”. I reminded her that I performed like Todibo….only came on for 5 minutes at the end!

Any chance of a weekly segment called Gonzo’s hypotheticals 😂 love the comparisons

Firstly, let’s nip this in the bud. Wolves did not have 19 shots. In the same way that we did not have 31 shots against Leicester. It’s an utterly absurd statistic. Half of those shots were blocked and therefore were not shots, not even close to being a shot. Rant over.

Bowen has grown into this leadership role. He’s proving can be the captain figure. It took Declan Rice a few months to bed in as captain, it has taken Jarrod about the same amount of time. And his goal last night was downright Robbenesque. Completely unstoppable, move and shot.
