Too Little, Too Late. Corporations always seek the lowest labor costs and the biggest market. China was tailor made for this. Instead of investing in the U.S. human capital, viz. better education in STEM fields, we've neglected these areas. China, however, has laser-focused on these for decades. With low labor costs and well-trained STEM personnel, they are now the manufacturing leader. It will take decades for the U.S. to catch up if ever.

Why not build these type of companies in the US? We've lost our goal of being the dominant producers of products. We chased the cheap products and not the quality of products. Corporations chased the almighty dollar due to cheap labor, to compete with China.
