The Division 2: Tinkering Changes! (2024 Beginner's Guide)

The Division 2: The Tinkering Station replaced the Recalibration Station in Title Update 20 on The Division 2. Everything remained the same as it was before but under a new UI with some major quality of life improvements. In this video we take a look at the new Tinkering Station and how it now works, and then I show you how you can use this whole system anywhere in the world without having to be at the Tinkering Station.

Not a beginners guide. You make assumptions that the player knows what it used to look like and how it used to work. "Here's the library, it works like it did before". How does that help a beginner? A Beginners Guide should explain the overall existing structure and how to use it in general which you did not do.

Why doesn't it tell you what materials you're missing when it says you don't have enough materials to recalibrate? Kinda maddening.

Man was having difficulties, with this Recal Station, also i was looking up videos from 3-7 years ago it looked different was wondering why i have not bee able to use it. Had to search if there where changes made in the Recalibration Station and UR video was at the Top of the search😁 Glad i found it. Being my first Agent to nearly finish the DC Story i still have a lot to Learn, i have not been able to fill up weapon stats as you showed here and i do have weapons, Gear of the same kind 3-4 on each, maybe not doing something right. Overall least i know now changes where made in the UI Thank you GCROCK.

So can you optimize an item multiple times? And with that same item you can optimize different stats as well or only that one stat you initially optimized?

Would be a hell of a lot easier if the items you have equipped appear at the top when you open up the tinkering sub menu's, and apart from being able to donate while outside of the BoO this is an absolute croc of shit that didn't need they need to do is test their updates before release and we're golden.

For a beginners guide, it's a little out of order man. You go straight into Tinkering, when you cannot as a beginner until you have something in the library to use, which would be done first and foremost. I am a beginner and I had to figure that out on my own, so this video being a beginners guide, failed on that part my friend....
