also my apologies if you guys are getting sick of me remixing this song over and over it's honestly a curse for me at this point 😭😭the tune is just really haunting yet so simple and versatile that i can't help myself LOL

Funny timing.


I’ve been struggling to pull everything together in time for finals, which start tomorrow.

I’ve listened to the original guilt mix quite a bit, and then this song comes out today.

It’s still got that same overwhelming buildup, and it even manages to peak at a much higher point that it used to, and then it’s just, silenced. And then the violin kicks back in and starts pulling the song back up,

I needed this today. Thank you.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got some math to review.

Developed a severe anger problem from trauma and heal from it at 21



Became houseless during the pandemic for six months (at age 26.)

Lived in a monk temple and like a monk for 6 months because they took me in while houseless, then confronted my trauma (i confronted myself during an intense purification meditation, that person was covered in wounds and bleeding heavily, but it had a look of determination, no matter how much blood was coming from it, it still stood, ready to attack, but I simply looked at myself and said “I’ll protect you now, rest now warrior.” And it legit dropped its guard and started crying, and Turned into a scared Child I came back to
My body and I was crying.)

Then learned true peace

This song brings up those memories and fuels my indomitable human spirit

I’m making this up, it’s fine I’ve made peace with it already.

The heart monitor in background really got to me, it reminded me that during this moment while Sunny and Omori were fighting in his mind, Sunny would have been physically in the hospital. Not that I didn't already know, but it made me think about it.

Such a powerful piece.
It's as amazing as always, it's almost like each song conveys the story one to one.

In the beginning, the piano desperately tries to reach him but stumbles and falls onto itself. Such as she did.

And yet he does not succumb. The fight continues, if barely, as the heart monitor signifies.

You can feel the struggle between the two. It's violent and unforgiving like they are tearing into him.

Meanwhile, when he plays it's so calming and serene like the ocean on a summer morning he plays his one piece...

But it seems like the conflict was already decided.

Self-forgiveness seems like an uphill battle for this poor boy.

And he has lost, everything.
