What advice would you give your younger self?

If I could go back and talk to my younger self, I’d tell her to stop being so afraid of failure. When I was younger, I was paralyzed by the fear of making mistakes, whether it was in school, relationships, or career choices. I wanted everything to be perfect, and when it wasn’t, I’d beat myself up for it. It wasn’t until I faced a big failure in my mid-twenties—a project at work that fell apart despite my best efforts—that I realized failure isn’t the end of the world. In fact, it’s one of the best teachers. That experience showed me that I could survive mistakes, learn from them, and come out stronger. Now, I approach life with more courage, knowing that even when things don’t go as planned, there’s always a lesson to be gained. To my younger self, I’d say, “Don’t be afraid to mess up—it’s part of the journey.”
