This is how I check bills...I check the backs 1st to see if there is a tiny number above the E. Then I turn them over and check for star notes, Then I check the serial # then, I glace at the edges, and see also that the serial numbers are off kilter, different, or the numbers are in a row, and the same color. So, why would a bill be printed in Fort Worth if it's seal is for Atlanta? So it's not printed where it is sealed?

Not sure of today but the rule was if no major change to the bill if one of the two signers are replaced then a new series with the same year different suffix. If both leave then a new year is put on. Or if a new design change. That is why bills from 1928 went to g then changed to 1953.
