I'm feminine and buy clothes from the male section often. Also, these clothes aren't androgynous. They are purely masculine clothing. This honestly gives the impression that male clothes are neutral and feminine clothes aren't. Also, it would only be neutral if there were feminine and masculine clothes incorporated.

People keep complaining that these clothes are "too masculine to be considered gender neutral/unisex"

But remember how they had to fill out some questions at the beginning where they stated which clothes they usually like to wear? And that if someone with a slightly more feminine taste were to use this they would get more feminine clothes? And that being nonbinary doesn't mean you're exactly in the middle but not really on either end of the spectrum?

I don't think there can be gender neutral clothing. In my opinion, when things claim to be gender non-conforming/neutral they just look like typical male's clothing. Everyone should just wear what they want instead of trying to market the tons of labels out there when it's still just looking like the default "male" gender typical things.

guys, if you go to the website to create a style profile it specifically asks, on a scale of 1-10, if you style is more traditionally masculine or feminine. The person in the video probably selected more masculine. jeez.

I'm more surprised there aren't more comments talking about how expensive these clothes are like women already get ridiculous mark ups I thought the appeal of gender neutral clothing was that it was less expensive. You have to put down a whole paycheck from a part time job just to order one box from this company.

I'm pretty sure people (Buzzfeed specifically is misusing the term gender neutral. Everytime they use the term gender neutral it's a woman in masculine clothing or man in femmine clothing, that's not neutral! neutral is like jeans and black tee shirt, an outfit that anyone could wear that wouldn't look gender specific or even gender inspired.

Dear people in the comments arguing there's only two genders. Let people be happy. Let people choose their own gender, whether you think it's real or not. What someone identifies as isn't affecting your life at all. If you don't like it, there's no reason to make people feel bad for doing something that makes them happy.

just reading the comments are think people are getting 'gender neutral' confused with the likes of 'non-binary' or is it me lol? because doesnt gender neutral just mean something thats suited to everyone like names such as alex and charlie or shoes like vans and converse ('unisex') and then isnt it the likes of 'non-binary' and 'genderfluid' and stuff that some people use to say there are more than 2 genders and not the other way around?

i feel like the only truly gender neutral clothes are sweatshirts and sweatpants lol. and some types of shoes. to me, androgyny is more how you physically look (body type/face), as opposed to what you wear. the clothes in this video were definitely more masculine in look than "neutral" imo.
