for facepaints i reccomend the brand mehron!! they're oil based and do not crack as easily as water based paints! if anything they rarely crack at all! they unfortunately do stain your skin so i would advise you to use their spray-on setting spray before AND after using! the product also goes on really smoothly and very pigmented!!
