I find it strange how people love to cling to the thought of Dyson spheres/swarms as the "ultimate" form of energy generation. We now know that water is extremely common in the universe, and so I find it infinitely more likely that advanced aliens would use fusion reactors since they would have a practically unlimited source of hydrogen.

I just hope I'm still around when we do find alien civilizations.

This dude is quickly becoming one of my favorite futurists. He’s technical and very intelligent — but he’s also super creative and has a really open mind. I’ve been going through his back catalogue but it’s very cool. Sometimes it is about approaching topics and crateringb

I love your content! This might sound like a weird “compliment” but your voice is perfect for those nights where I’m having trouble falling asleep - it’s so soothing and relaxing and it gets me right there! Keep up the good work!

I always recommend this channel to people who are looking on the internet about aliens and stuff so they can get a good insight on the matter.

That one star that scientists believe has high amounts of plutonium, yttrium, ytterbium, praseodymium and other heavy elements but strangely low levels of iron and other common elements still mystifies me. I would've hoped since they've known about it so long, they could've confirmed or denied it's existence by now.

There's a special place in my heart for the SETI episodes. Cheers John!

Fry once moved the stars for Leela so I think that one can come of the list as being a sign of alien life 😁

Advanced aliens or AIs are often imagined to be extremely, inhumanly patient, long-lived, and far-sighted, and willing to wait thousands of years for results from their projects. But it seems like, though immortal, they might live fast, at nanosecond scales, and have extremely, inhumanly little interest in the remote and irrelevant future of next month.

I love it when you do these top-ten videos. I found out about this channel a few months ago expecting the usual top-ten fare and received a very pleasant surprise; another great youtube astronomy channel! Been a regular ever since; these types of video are like little holidays to me when they come out.

James Webb needs to hurry up already. I can't wait to get my hands on the data that comes from it.
