I am a native New Yorker and it amazes me that real estate gets built with NO details.   Four walls, no moldings, no character, flat and boring like a box... and becomes a 90 million dollar apartment.  What happened to pre war details like moldings, arches and vaulted ceilings?   I look at this stuff and laugh at what is considered high end these days

Very bad taste, nice location, but what a trash furniture, the building owner should request money back from the crap designers.

the interior designs are not "different" or "creative", they are extremely tacky and mediocre. i would have fired the interior designer.

No idea what all of these people commenting saying that this furnishings aren't nice are talking about.  Sure, the lights piece that's getting swapped out isn't all that pleasant, but the remainder of the pieces are fine!

The reporter had a very annoying voice. It was like listening to a grown up Valley Girl.

Michael Dell owns the penthouse there.

Just with the HOA monthly fee, you can buy a palace in the South.

500, 000$ for some of the furnishing ? Maybe they should reconsider another interior designer / design firm because this, by the look itself, inside, I would find pretty cheap looking and crappy.

I like the copper cubic light installation or as they say dandelion. But there is a bit of a miss with the furniture as a whole, just doesnt hold some how.

lol @ these people in the apartment. I feel like I'm watching a trailer for American Psycho 2. "oohh the dandelion chandelier takes on a life of its own, by the way, wanna see my new card?".

You can get this ANYWHERE. If I’m living in NYC, I want Gothic architecture and rich wood floors.

The commentators voice is like nails on a chalkboard

Id rather buy a Mansion out in the suburbs and actually own land, and people can actually admire my mansion. New York City is extremely overrated.

Stupid note, but the cuts in this video are way too fast. I need more than half a second to take in this supposedly gorgeous apartment and its furnishings. Give the clips some time to breathe!

These are the kind of people who think as long as it's flashing and glittery, it must be classy.  Besides, aren't they supposed to be selling the apartment, not the sparkling junk?

And 2 years later, sold for 100 million

Good info-mercial, but not much in the way of news.

That penthouse is going to be pretty useless in a long term blackout. lol
