Her three most viewed competitive programs in youtube (Black Swan, Don Quijote, Karmen) have in total almost 34 million views. No other female skater has so many views of competitive programs. Alina is simply the best! Her programs are masterpieces. She is associated with astronomical talent, beauty, kindnedss, strong character and victory!

Masahiko Uotani, President and CEO of Shiseido Company, one of the oldest cosmetic companies in the world, said that he saw Alina's performance at the Olympics and he was struck by her grace, beauty and strong character of a champion. And he definitely knows a lot about beauty. Alina was invited to become an ambassador of Shiseido. The Japanese Prime Minister was also impressed by Alina Zagitova and gave her a wonderful gift - an Akita-inu dog! He and his wife personally handed it over to Alina. And some time later Alina became the only figure skater who was invited to visit the Japanese Minister Residence, which is a great honour.

Thanks a lot for this video. I used to like both: Zagitova and Medvedeva, but all the hate after her win from russian officials and disrespect from her own coaches on Zagitova made me choose Alina. They treated her so unfair.

Alina Zagitova's Olympic programs are legendary masterpieces of incredible beauty! The short program "Black Swan" and the free program "Don Quijote' are the most beautiful performances that I have ever seen in female figure skating. Beautiful Alina, gorgeous costumes, immortal music, perfect choreography. Perfection! Many foreigners commented that she looked like a ballerina from the music box.

What makes Alina's win a big story is that she won not only the Olympic gold but she also held victory over behind the scenes intrigues and corruption in the judging system. It is incredible, unbelievable, mindblowing! The Russian judge and two judges from the countries of the former Soviet Union were against Alina. The Russian judge put Alina in the 4th place in the free program! Alina performed impeccably the most difficult free program in the world and the judge from her own country downgrades her performance so much! Isn't it insane?! Such things happen because these judges were ordered to do this by the officials from the Russian Figure Skating Federation. They wanted Medvedeva to win by means of unfair judging.
Medvedeva has always been overscored. Her jumping tecnique is very poor and moreover she was never able to jump lutz, one of the basic jumps. But she is a favourite of Russian sports officials. Her mother is a former skater and her family has connections with some important people from the Russian Figure skating federation. Look at European Championship 2016, Medvedeva was given gold in spite of the fact that she made a mistake in one of the jumps in the short program and fell in the free program. Elena Radionova was given silver though she skated two programs perfectly. Behind the scenes intrigues have always been part of figure skating.
When Alina won the Olympics the Russian sports officials were furious! They began the compaign against Alina in mass media and it has been going on up to now. Important people connected with figure skating in Russia began to say that Alina didn't deserve to win. Tarasova said that judges stole the gold medal from Medvedeva. They were so mad that they reduced the basic value of Alina's most difficult combo lutz-rittberger by 1.4 points next season. It is insane! Believe me no figure skater has ever been bullied and hated in the Russian mass media as much as Alina Zagitova. No figure skater in Russia has heard as many vicious words from figure skating community people as Alina Zagitova..It is a huge pressure, it's like killng somebeody morally. But... in spite of it Alina triamphantly won the World Championship, the biggest competion of next season. Alina has an incredibly strong personality. She deserves a lot of admiration!
