Hi guys! The long weekend and the depressing topic made this video take longer than it should.

Hii guys! Just wanted to let you know that because of the difficulties with copyright in my last video this one has a lot less video and is more picture based. Links for fancams used is in the description box. And link to the original editor of the picture as well. In minute 17:57 i mean Anna not kamila 😅

People need to realise Sasha never had a temper tantrum, she literally had a mental breakdown. She told the cameramen to leave but they kept filming. Also translations on Twitter are wrong. She never said she hated eteri or anyone, she said she hated the sport. As a Russian from what I heard anyway. It’s sad these mistranslations are happening too, it’s giving her a bad rep.

What also breaks my heart about Trusova, is she must be aware of the "expiration date", so she knows this was probably the only chance she had at the olympics, and she never stood a chance, because her team never believed in her winning gold to begin with.

I wish Trusova had been chosen for the free skate in the team event. Even if she wasn’t going to win gold in the individual, she deserved the honour of being the first woman to land a quad at the Olympics.

I imagined Kamila would fall in the FS, but Trusova's breakdown was really surprising and heartbreaking. She always looked so strong, guess there was a lot of suppressed frustration in her

Not a focus of this video, but I love that Kaori made the podium because she is 21 and it shows that women's figure skating has not entirely become a girl's sport. Adults can still be competitive and still be Olympic medalists.

I felt so bad for every girl. Anna standing there all alone looking somber after she just WON was heart wrenching. Kamila beaten down by the whole world and only to then let herself down was tragic. Sasha's breakdown was raw and real. I understand her--she beat a record no one thought possible even 10 years ago. Never getting first can drive a young, unsupported girl insane. I hope they get better guidance. It was so hard to watch.

I think what’s also heartbreaking about Sasha is the fact that she didn’t get to claim the title of first woman to perform quads in the Olympics. She completely revolutionized quads in women’s FS, is *the* quad queen, but after all her hard work, the title goes to Kamila. I really do feel for her. In her mind, she’s losing everything and the entire universe just seems to be against her. She can never seem to win gold in any competition and now she can’t even have something as simple as a title.

People who think there’s no way kamila could’ve skated that poorly without it being intentional has no idea what the kind of pressure she was under can do to somebody. I’m shocked that she got out there and managed to land anything, or finish the program. It would be hard for a seasoned adult who had been mentally prepping for a shitstorm to withstand it without breaking, for a 15 year old child, away from her family, favourite to win, hated by the skating community, at her one chance at the olympics, to even get out onto the ice is a miracle. It has been said that skating is 90% mental 10% athletic. I don’t doubt for a second that she truly tried her best to podium.

Sasha said the truth: “I hate this sport” and “You knew everything”.

Not about Kamilla, but the way people are treating Trusova’s reaction to not getting gold I think is harsh. She’s 17 and she’s being psychologically abused essentially. She’s been trained to this gold is the only real win. She also did 5 quads and that has its merits. Based on her social media and interviews, she seems like a perfectly nice kid. I think this one moment on global television is a little unfair to judge her on.

People are also forgetting that Sasha, not so long ago dealt (and probably still is) with a foot injury on her right leg. Just the amount of pain she had to indure to regain her 5 quads back ( from test skates), she is the only skater I can remember who didn't water down her routine due to injury.. Poor girl..

Watching this live was insane - you're sitting there watching like "this exact footage is going to be in so many movies/shows/documentaries". The clip of Kamila saying "now they can have the ceremony" and then breaking down sobbing gets me every single time. I literally cannot fathom being under that amount of scrutiny and pressure, especially as a kid. I also read somewhere that Sasha said "this competition has ruined my life forever". This was all heartbreaking. I hope somebody watches out for these girls and they can come back in 2026 if they want to

I got Hunger Games vibes from this. All three of these girls are victims. Thrilled for Kaori.

the sad thing is that you could still hear Trusova's breakdown when Kaori was skating to the podium

When you said, having the same choreographer just creates a mess and you've never seen such a disaster. I thought, imagine Dance Moms at the Olympics. That's what this was

even understanding Trusova's justifiable emotional outburst, for me the most touchful moment - in the worst way possible - was Kamila saying that "at least the medal ceremony will not be cancelled" after seeing her FS score and then broke down herself in tears.

Anna has always been overlooked and less people are talking about her just because she is never in the middle of a drama and people do love drama
She is an amazing athlete, her power of will is insane and her story is a story of overcoming, especially this year. Her performances on these Olympics were magical and I still can't get over them. I hope she'll be able to fully celebrate her victory though I think it's hard with everything that happened
and I hope very much that her relationship with Sasha will survive. Their friendship deserves to be long and happy

as a trusobot, seeing those pictures of sasha just fully breaks my heart. she has always accepted the silver/bronze with a smile, but i guess she genuinely was lead to believe that landing those 5 quads in competition would for sure give her the gold. knowing how hard she worked on those quads, i do wish she would've gotten a gold medal (even for the team event, i would've been happy). i just hope she leaves eteri for good.

to what you said about sasha, i remember seeing somewhere in training she said my excuse for having no golds yet is that i’ve been trying to land all the quads, and when i do i will win gold, and then she did just that and still couldn’t win, i could only imagine the heartbreak and devastation she felt in that moment, knowing she did every jump possible and still wasn’t “good enough”
