I love the dynamics of you guys' relationships! Jamie ~ the teacher, always talkin about the details until he gets cut off, Eric ~ when things get tense just laugh that goofy laugh and pretend someone else is in charge, Jono ~ the quiet OCD perfectionist, Arlo ~ the old pro and mentor, Ray ~ the glue boy/painter/Skittles king, Jason ~ "What? I didn't do it!" plus a bottomless pit of need for acknowledgement and appreciation! 🤣 And underneath it all, every last one of you is a true professional. I love this channel.

I appreciate the fact you call the worm driver saw a Larry Haun saw. He was a artist with that saw of his 🔥

I enjoyed watching skilled craftsmen at work that like what they do, and have fun.

So glad the fireplace wall is going to get re-stained. That whitewash looks very default retail(if that makes sense). The darker will looks so much better and glad homeowners are choosing that.

Put the compressor in the shade -- it's getting hot. Good choice on the wood flooring.

I'm glad you went with the wood above the fireplace. The newer stain will look so much better than the white wash, and it's way better than stone.
I think we just witnessed the quickest board meeting ever. "You better buy one quick! We're gonna need it!"

The 1x above the fireplace is definitely going to shrink and leave huge gaps between boards so you can see into the chimney chase- I’ve seen it happen time and time again and the shrinkage is double what you’d expect in one board typically since two determine the gap. Probably gonna be 1/4” gaps after a good heating season. Needs to either have a color matched plywood backer behind it or be shiplap/T&G.

At the end. Good choice. I wasn't feeling that left-over-mayonnaise finish. 😂 Much better with the new finish.

I went to a recycling place in town and got a Porter Cable pancake compressor (2018 model) for $35.
The lady who donated it didn't have a hose.
I also picked up a door for $10. With the trim, hardware, and filling in the big hole where the non-sliding slider, I still got a good deal.
I love recycling, unless it is from a contractor.

Why is it that I, an accountant from Scotland who can barely use a saw, am addicted to this series?! I look forward to each episode more than Westworld Season 4! One day, I'll maybe build a house, and I'll have a huge bank of pro tips to start with! Keep up the awesome work guys! Love from Bonnie Scotland!

Great work guys! Glad you decided to redo the fireplace. That white stain looked really terrible. Was hoping you'd go with a cherry or walnut, but matching it with the outside woodwork makes great sense though and will help tie in the outside with the interior.

September can't come soon enough, thanks guys

The Milwaukee M12 5-3/8” circular saw is the best lightweight cordless saw. Can’t recommend it enough for overhead cuts especially.
