I don't know which is better. the fact that people have discovered what submechanophobia is or that people now know what a bunyip is.

Imagine a survival horror game where your job is to repair these things underwater. Gross.

My fear is the ones left alone in the water decaying, thinking about being in the water with them almost gives me an anxiety attack!

Someone has most likely been in the water with that oily Bunyip to clean it and that makes me shiver

Animatronics in clear water are kinda creepy. In dark water, though? Nightmarish.

The thought of just swimming in a lake, and your feet touch hard metal. Then you look down and see a old bunyip animatronic... NOPE NOPE

I personally find the Loch Ness monster to be the scariest for the fact that it was on the middle of a huge loch and they gave it the perfect organic look. Being underwater in there with it would feel like actual death

can’t wait to see some of these “perfect condition” animatronics become my nightmare fuel in half a decade

People were outraged by the Monstro design because it would scare kids. If I recall correctly, they had to tone down the smell because you could smell it throughout the rest of the forest.

If I ever happened to fall into a deep body of water, only to open my eyes and see one of these things, I would cease.

Ok ok, hear me out. Baby bunyip is now the new Bert, that's why the baby is gone, because just a few years ago he WAS the baby

I appreciate how you gave us the backstory for each animatronic instead of just editing together a slideshow with creepy music like many other channels are doing with their submechanophobia videos right now.

I have a DEATHLY fear of Crocodiles/Alligators. I had to skip ahead for the Lake Placid sequence cause I felt like vomiting from sheer terror. spooky stuff

My parents took me to see the Murray Bridge Bunyip when I was about 4-5 years old, without warning me there was something in the water. This was before the cutesy revamp, when it looked like a decomposing mess, howling as it crawled out of the water. That thing is terrifying, and has haunted me for decades.

The lochness monster one is a lot less scary since it’s a practically a whole robot with no exposed parts or machinery. I think a big part of the fear of falling into animatronic infested waters is the rails and gears hidden underwater that will tear you to shreds while looking at the monstrosity on top of it.
