It’s undeniable that losing Adam at the end of Hazbin Hotel season 1 had a huge impact on Lute and she definitely took it the hardest out of all the angels since she was his second in command. Her reaction to losing him is the most emotional we have ever seen her and that says a lot for a character who never expresses these kinds of feelings in the show at all. Adam is at the centre of everything Lute does, he has had a huge influence on her passion for taking down sinners so now that he is gone this burning desire will only grow stronger. Lute is thirsting to take vengeance against the sinners that took Adam away from her but given how deeply the situation affected her, she starts to question whether there is a deeper reason behind why she wants to avenge him so badly. An Out For Love rewrite felt like the perfect way for me to capture the situation Lute is in! 🖤🔥

I feel like in the next season we’ll hear more songs from the villains’ point of view, as in season 1 we mostly heard from the heroes. Your rewrite really shows us that Lute is conflicted between how she felt for Adam and the vengeance she wants against those sinners. Another great song ❤
