Lute and Sera both want to protect Heaven and the souls that reside there but they go about this in very different ways. Although they fight for the same cause, Sera is more methodical and passive whereas Lute acts on impulse with aggression. This makes sense when we see the roles that these two angels play in the extermination. Lute fights on the front line in Hell whilst Sera gives orders behind the comfort of Heaven’s Golden Gates. I decided to rewrite Happy Day In Hell to show their conflicting opinions and eventual resolution on how they should retaliate against Hell after the events of the Hazbin Hotel finale, my Sera original song Heaven Is Changing and my Stayed Gone Rewrite where Lute couldn’t convince Lilith to deal with the situation! 😈😇

I was never expecting this, but I love this rewrite so much Lute may be a horrible person but I like her a lot, she's the definition of a toxic girlboss she's definitely going to be out for vengeance
Sera is still being driven by willful ignorance, she's willing to ignore genocide if it means keeping heaven's residents safe, both of them seem to living embodiments of everything wrong with heaven
Lute carries heaven's ideals to the extreme as she was essentially programmed into being a warrior sent to exterminate sinners
Sera is incharge of managing heaven so she is forced to take hard decisions if it means ensuring the protection of the residents
Both are similar but different, so it's intriguing to see Lute manipulating Sera on the guise of protecting heaven just to exact her own revenge

OMG, YES. I always hoped Sera and Lute would have a duet. They seem like they'd be like student (Lute) and teacher (Sera), but a close relationship.

I like these rewrites and the Heaven Is Changing lore. It sounds like Sera was getting closer to the path of understanding, but Lute brought her back to the other mindset. I honestly didn’t expect Happy Day In Hell to be made epic, but you did it somehow! Love the Lute rewrites

0:41 OMG PLEASE YESSS. The beat change?!!! For some reason, this reminds me of frozen in a weird way, and it SOUNDS SO GOOD- All of these hit so hard, and yet another masterpiece. You can voice the whole of hazbin at this point- The setting is setup like Lute and Sera are battling in song within the court room. Lute's view is still avenging Adam, while Sera wants to do the right thing. They both want to do the right thing for different ideals, to take control and THE HARMONIES TOO, and still they want to get rid of the Hazbin Hotel, oh my gosh the LORE GOES WILD WITH THIS ONE-

Now that everyone know that the angels can be killed, plenty of demons will exact revenge for millennia of exterminations, and of course someone like the 3V will be more than happy to oblige.

i like how these rewrites take a much darker approach compared to the original songs (minus maybe Poison), instead of Charlie blubbering happy-go-lucky nonsense we have Sera being manipulated by Lute into thinking an uprising is on the way and they have to continue killing to stop it. imagine if these songs had the animation of the show, or better yet, the style of the art in the videos, but with an actual animated story to go along with it. that'd be sick.
