Kieran I’m a goalkeeper for a football team and I noticed something in your vids whenever you’re in goal. Just before and as you’re moving across the goal to save a shot, you crouch down a bit and shuffle your arms and hands back and forth. Try not to do that as it can throw off the speed of your dives, your reaction time to dive for the ball and your balance as you’re about to dive. It’s best to just leap and stretch as far as you can after you know the balls trajectory to some degree. If needed to get across goal because the shot is far in the corner, run across goal for 1-2 steps and then leap. You’ll have a much higher chance of saving shots if you do this. Also remember to fully stretch your whole body for each dive as it can let you leap and dive higher and further distances across goal faster as you become more aerodynamic. Not insulting you, just constructive criticism. I really hope you don’t take this the wrong way cause I love your vids so if you see this, next time your in goal, try these tips and see how much of a difference it makes

I wore those Lotto for two years starting in 2006. Had to order them off EuroSport. Good times. Lotto also made a boot with a spinning front stud on each boot for “better traction”. Pretty wild.
