I’m a goalie and till I turned 12 and played for Hertha BSC I used finger save. It wasn’t bad but, as soon as you want to get bigger sizes and more comfort then you need to buy without finger save. Also your fingers will not get stronger if you use finger save because without your fingers make themselves automatically stronger.

With finger saves they got ride of it because it bulky and hard to catch over time it becomes uncomfortable and makes it harder to catch the ball because it fix in an unnatural position.

As a goalkeeper and a goalkeeper coach myself, finger-saves don’t feel natural. They feel bulky and restrictive. And 99% of the time, if you have the correct technique when catching/saving your fingers don’t bend back much, if at all

Keepers hate fingersaves because it reduces freedom of movement in the fingers and is typically different to the hands natrual catching curve

I think the comparison to those thin, paper feel Under Armours are the 99 gram boot by Adidas, which you actually complained about the durability in a video before.

Hey Kieran funny but I actually wear the “most dangerous” boots and I have never felt anything bad or dangerous from them they honestly help more than not.

I have the Under Armour Magnetico Pros shown in this video and can honestly say they are the best boots I’ve ever worn. Being able to really feel the ball makes so much of a difference when it comes to control and touch in tough areas. Gutted that I can’t find them online anymore to get a new pair

We hate finger saves because it isolates the amount of flexibility in our hands

Fingersaves are widlely hated in the community (me included) due to your hand being in an unnatural fixed position making it harder to catch a ball. It also means you cant mske a fist to punch the ball either. Fingersave gloves also have wprse durabilty due to the latex being stretched more from the fingersaves

those gloves you used are gaa gloves which is a irish version of a mix of football and rugby the gloves are usually much thinner with the padding

1:50 as a gk, they don’t give you the freedom of moving your fingers because it’s so strong so while it is great at finger saves it’s harder to catch the ball
