How to play Co op in Dark Souls Tutorial
In order to play Co op you have to get the White Sign SoapStone From the guy with the sun on his shirt. To summon people you also have to be alive, to know if your alive you can look at your guys face or the number in the top left of your screen must be white. The people you summon or are summoned by will be within 10 levels of you character. Make sure to hide your sign in a secret spot if your playing with a friend and don't want others to find it.

From Software makes some good games... but god are they idiots when it comes to design. Co-op? Sure! Just jump through 15 hoops to do it, with no voice chat, instead of making an easy to use interface. /commonsense

If your friend helps you beat the boss then you progress and your friend won't. So what you should do is, he helps you kill the boss then you run back to the beginning of the level and then have him summon you and then you beat it with him. Another thing is if their is a bonfire near you after you beat the boss, light the bonfire but don't sit @ it because it will respawn all mobs and will make it hard for you to get back to the beginning of the level to help your friend.

The Level difference between all the players must be within 10 Soul levels to summon them. The host of the room gets all the items but the people you summon get xp, and money. So if your playing with a friend through the whole game then summon your friend, complete the level. then have your friend summon you and complete the level again with your friend being the host.

Yes you have to be there. You have to be in the same spot in the level to summon each other. So your going to have to talk to your friend and pick out a spot to meet up in the level and you put down your summon sign. If you already beat the boss in that level then you won't be able to summon your

i played this game lately, at level 14, i decided i wanted to be a human instead of the anorexic skeleton, so i used humanity reverse hollow, suddenly after a few minutes im invaded and a man who is red and black slowly walks to me i slash him repeatedly, his health barely drops, and he sits there, then blows me away with a spell and punched me to death

you can only summon people if you the summoner has not beaten the boss in what ever lvl you are summoning in, but if you beat the boss and your friend did not beat it then he can summon you

you have to place it within the start of a level. if you see a bonfire then that is usually when a new level starts and can put it down next to that.

If the summon sign is RED they are going to try to kill you when you summon them. If the summon sign is WHITE then they will help you and cannot hurt you. Also people can invade your game while you are playing if you are alive and did not summon a red sign.

You can only summon your friend in the same server. Have him get invaded or him invade someone, and go back to title screen and click dashboard it, and join session in progress then load your game, and tell him where to put summon sign.

I'm trying this game out because it is now free on xbox 360 and it seems fun. everyone complains about it being super hard..i rage quit super easy so i'm not looking forward to that =D I hope there is an archer class and a button to dodge attacks quickly, like a roll or something. also, a lock on button. i will be fuckn locking on and rolling all over the place shooting arrows. BUT i guess it can't be THAT easy, otherwise mofos wouldnt be complaining about the difficulty. If anyone wants to co-op with me, let me know.
