In Co-op mode my due player is not working even i add 2 player and select character but agian when i play the game it only have one player

Thanks for this, it was really helpful. I do have one doubt tho, like if you can't connect more than 1 controller then what's the difference with the normal mode? What would be the point of creating a whole mode to just be the same as the regular one?? I was planning to have my friends over and there's 8 of us, one for each character, so now i'm finding out we gotta toss the controller around the room everytime the character switches..
