I'm late to the party, but when the blooper outdoes the experiment. Everything about that blooper has me rolling so hard. Angel's side critique as Guga was talking, was just enough to throw off Guga's practiced English. The moment he finishes the blunder.. he side-eyes homie with a resounding.. "WTF DID I JUST SAY?!" (Masterfully keeping it PG13). The cooking method is a 10/10 and.. Thank you guys for this experience. Thank you subs and supporters for keeping these guys in business.

If cooking on a grill with cheap steaks, I like to soak them overnight with an equal portion of low sodium soy sauce (yes, low sodium) and honey. Grills up real well and makes crappy steak taste good, but if cooked in a pan the honey will burn.

The low sodium soy sauce is because otherwise this will be way too salty, one of the few use cases for it.

I use Dale’s sauce with other liquids to dilute the saltiness of it some overnight with basting of Garlic & Herb seasoning with butter and black pepper while cooking… 😋😋😋😋😋

Same reason I would guess is the cold. Sort of like freezing a fish then prepping vs prepping a fresh one and the different texture of meat and it's elasticity due to the moisture in the steak. I'm gonna have to try this but make a jerk style steak.

I wonder if you used whisky and Worcestershire sauce with crushed red pepper and garlic to marinade the steak with a bit of brown sugar.

Two things I would love to see:

1. Guga releases a best of the year contest for his main and side dishes to rate what his crew thinks is the best, while also comparing the past year’s best (oh I’m def thinking about that wagyu black truffle carbonara).

2. For the love of god and all that is holy, open up a steakhouse. It shall be glorious 😈
