Sometimes I breathe in deeply with my mouth open and I’m like, “hold on, the air is a little tart. Tart Air, if you will.”

Also steak tartare is French because France has extremely high food hygiene standards and fantastic traceability. If someone gets sick from meat in a restaurant (if the restaurant did what they are obliged to) investigators can locate the farm it came from within 2 hours. Don't ever eat raw meat in England!

"Tart Air" is what you get if you loading up on beans

Tartar is essentially "cooked" with dashes of lemon juices or vinegars which kills most of the bacteria. The raw egg on top also will be fine as most western Europe eggs are confirmed salmonella free and have been for over a decade.

I hope your positivity is stronger than my negativity....because for years I've....we've been praying for the world to suffer. Hug your family and friend if you love them...because soon it will all burn.

“Meat scientists”
I guess you could call me a meat scientist of some variety, I do love to experiment with my meat. Sorry mom 😭

I took meat science classes in college. She's absolutely correct. Yes, our meat supply is pretty great food safety, but I wouldn't do it.

I remember when I first heard a waitress in a restaurant ask someone how they wanted their burger cooked. I though it was totally ridiculous and how dense are these people to compare a burger to a steak. Thank you for producing this video to explain the difference.

And don't get me started on people cooking meats then putting them back on the same plate as the raw was in without washing it. And DO NOT eat any part of raw chicken.

I'm a beef farmer and I'm only comfortable eating raw beef tar tar style from my own farm and the farm I work on also owns the butcher shops the meat goes to so I see the process all the way through

This only applies if it’s whole muscle intact meat. Some meat is mechanically tenderized, in that case all that surface bacteria has been stabbed into the meat using thousands of needles. Have a good day thank you for the video.
