You really are like a tonic. Love watching your vlogs. You really are lucky having all these sewing, knitting markets. We really have absolutely nothing like them in our country 🇿🇦

Lovely to see you had a good day out with your mum. Love Sew Me Something. Their sewing retreats are wonderful, thoroughly recommend them. Thanks for the inspiration. Me & my youngest have thought about XXdoing the Harrogate show. We do Alley Palley every year & thought it might be nice to go up north & do Harrogate & visit York for a bit of a treat. Miss up there being a northern lass who moved south 28 yrs ago. I don't know how you produce so much sewing, it takes me 3 weeks to whip out an Agnes top. Take care & thanks for keeping me company whilst I make dinner. X

That black cord would look stunning in the merchant and mills clementine skirt. 😊

When you wash your black cord fabric, put a cup of salt in the washer with it. It will set the color and keep it from fading any more and stay the beautiful black

Hi, you're absolutely correct that you don't wash wool. Have a wee look at Lauren Guthrie's [Guthrie & Ghani] YouTube channel, where she explains why not to wash it and how to keep it nice and fresh. Love Love Love your videos xx

How about the Arial skirt from TATB? So fun to see footage from the show. Don’t wash the wool. Such generous sewing people!

Ruan, it looks like you had such a lovely day! 💗
I hang my boiled wool and steam it with a hand steamer. Lay flat to dry. That should take care of any shrinkage. For that beautiful corduroy, put 3 color catchers in the first wash and 2 in the second wash. You won’t be sorry! 😊

Hi Ruan, not sure which brand of needles you used to use, but the automatic threader of my Juki DX3 also works fine with size 80 and up Schmetz needles. (Haven't tried size 70 yet so can't speak of them). Schmetz and Organ are my preferred brands.

Tilly and the buttons Arielle skirt is a nice pattern and it's the black Friday sale too. I brought the Marnie pattern because I saw your top version.
