Autumn and Winter Sewing Plans | And a Knitting and Stitching Show Haul!

Hello and welcome to this week’s video in which I am sharing some fabrics and patterns I purchased at the recent Knitting and Stitching show, as well as some plans I have for my sewing over the next few months. I agree, it would have been rude to not buy the coating lol. The blue baby cord is lovely and the Nutcracker fabric is gorgeous!

Lovely varied plans, Great fabrics. My winter plans include a quilted jacket, a blackwood cardigan and a sweater vest. Its lovely to do some cosy sewing.

All your plans look amazing Amelia. The Christmas border fabric is absolutely stunning but it would kind of be a shame to make a dress your daughter would only wear a couple of times as beautiful as that would be. If it were me, I would make a table runner or similar so I could enjoy it year after year. It’s only a thought and you do you. Btw, I love your videos 😊

Ooh smocking! I’ve wanted to do some for ages. My grandmother used to make smocked dresses for my sister and me so the idea fills me with nostalgia! I’ve just watched Rosary Apparel’s vlog on smocking but she doesn’t go as far as using it for a garment so I will be so keen to see how you get on. Good luck!

Wow I love your Marlo in a size 0! I think I'm also a size 8 theoretically and was thinking of sizing down to a size 4 and giving it a go but I love your one so much! Thanks for sharing!
