As funny as the tone of this scene, it's actually very deep, when you notice people's reactions of Spider-Man stopping the thief. Not once a 'thank you, Spider-Man' is said, but rather patronizing words from these adults, constantly look down on him like a child.

Tbh I actually love the idea of Spider Man having a criminal little brother.
Not in the supervillain or bank robber type of way, but just a little brother who commits these petty crimes because he's rebellious.

Then everytime the brother gets caught, Peter always gives the same tired but still helpful lecture to his brother, while he is still indeed webbed to the wall. XD

I feel like it could add more to Peter's character

But there's probably a comic like that already.
