Vince McMahon bought out his competition and flaunted it by including it in a storyline. The guy had style.

They absolutely buried so many WCW guys just out of spite. A bunch could of been included in so many great angles, stories, and matches.
Wish it was handled differently back then.

If they would’ve kept it going like Shane really did buy it as competition to his father it may have lasted longer. They could’ve secretly pretended the Monday night wars were still going and it would’ve made him tons of money. Instead we now have too many wrestlers under the same brand and half can’t even get on tv. There would be no need for smack down. If they just kept it pretending it was separate from WWE. Keep having wrestlers jump ship to keep fans wondering . And don’t have the invasion angle too soon! Let it build for a while. Just my opinion.

This was the beginning of the end of WWE dominance on tv it went down for years and years to the point where WCW Saturday night has the same ratings as raw was doing not long ago

It was a sad day when WCW well shut down it was a continuation from North Georgia wrestling NWA and so forth no time in history was it is great is the Four Horsemen and all the things that went on during those days great days are gone forever

Eric, Terry, Kevin and, Scott put WCW out of business and it wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't Vince's ideal and planning that actually caused it. As they almost did completely in TNA.
