As the Me Too movement works to give women and girls a greater voice, it is also bringing new attention to how boys are raised and the pressures they face. According to research, 30% of high school boys say they have been in a fight. The latest data also shows boys are more likely to take their own lives than girls. Psychologist Michael Reichert joins "CBS This Morning" to discuss his new book, "How to Raise a Boy: The Power of Connection to Build Good Men."

wow . It's unusual for people to give attention to males and them needing help. Usually it's only women. This is long overdue

Why not address toxic feminism as well, why all this attention on men only?

Parents should raise their kids to compassionate and successful regardless of their gender. I never heard of teaching a boy to be stoic. Some parents may teach their sons that, but I don't think it is common. However, boys are generally taught not to show fear and not to cry. Women don't want a man who is a coward and cries over the littlest things. However, most boys instinctively try to be brave and avoid crying in front of others. Too teach them otherwise is unnatural. Boys are not girls, and we should not raise them to be like girls. Furthermore, kids always benefit from both parents. However, fathers are better at raising boys than mothers. Likewise, mothers are better at raising girls than fathers. Women don't have the faintest idea of how it feels to be a man just like a man don't have the faintest idea of how it feels to be a woman. Women have a tendency to demonize some natural behaviors of boys; which is not healthy for them.
