Space Stone - Makes sure the Snap happens across all of Space. Without it, the effects would be localised - Planetary or Solar System level at best.

Reality Stone - Does the Dusting itself. Without it, bodies would be left behind or even worse the Snap wouldn’t work because they wouldn’t die at all.

Power Stone - Obviously, provides the energy necessary for the Snap. Without it, Thanos would need something that puts millions of Arc Reactors to shame.

Soul Stone - Places the Soul of the Target within the Soul World. Also aids with locating every victim and randomising the effects. Without it, Thanos wouldn’t be able to target every being and put their Soul in the Soul world.

Time Stone - Makes the Snap permanent. As in, it cannot be undone by time alone. The Reality Stone’s effects wear off eventually. Without the Time Stone, the Snap would eventually revert and everyone would be returned.

Mind Stone - Allows Thanos to take the mental strain of the Snap. The Snap isn’t simply a click everyone’s dead. Thanos needs perfect concentration- What do I want? How do i want it to happen? Where will it take place? What way will everyone die? Who is exempt from the Snap? Etc. Without the Mind Stone, the effects would be too strenuous for Thanos’s mind and he may very well die in doing the Snap. Plus, the effects wouldn’t be as potent.

Every Stone is required to successfully pull off the Snap. Without even one of them, it won’t work as intended.
