in general, if for Thor to make armor out of uru metal, like Thanos, then it's debatable. Thor is able to fly, with the help of his powers, jump high, maneuver, use air currents and lightning as in the first film. Thanos of the cinematic universe is physically superior to Thor in everything, but magically inferior absolutely. We have not seen in any movie that Thor, rested and full of strength and motivation, fought with Thanos. In the Infinity War, Thor was essentially dead twice. He didn't have time to recover. In the final part, Thor was suffering from depression, fat and weakened. I think the best version of Thor in terms of physical potential is in the movie Thor Ragnarok, in terms of magical potential - love and thunder.
