The CZ was too blatantly overpowered upon introduction, but they should've not nerfed it to the ground as far as they did up to today's CZ. At least, increase the damage back to its former figures. A full-auto glass cannon with exceptionally small total ammo count is a really interesting dynamic to play with.

Best secondary ever made for awp, they even not nerfed the awp, but they nerfed its secondary nowdays aswell which were deagle in CS:S and cs1.6 ....
and cz-75 in CSGO...

You forgot to mention it replaced the P250 instead of the TEC-9 or Five-SeveN.

Basically the go-to pistol in any situation. The fact that you could have it in the place of a P250 and keep the Five-Seven/ Tec-9 was insane.

I think they should buff the CZ again, there's a lot of different ways you could go with it, give it a faster fire rate and reload speed to make it a quick "pump and dump" type gun that trades sustained effectiveness for high close range lethality, or just give it fast switch speed so it can be a good sniper secondary, scout and cz could be a sleeper pick if the cz was just a tiny bit better

Vaguely remember during the peak there was some major completive stuff going on.
And it was all that was bought for a secondary, no matter what primary weapon was being used.
Iirc there was an Eco round, in which the other side basically also just brought out the CZ because it wasn’t worth bringing anything more.
